However, we will consult with you first or recommend another treatment should you not be a suitable candidate.

2. How Many Treatments Do I Need?Knowing how many sessions you need would be best to understand how the laser and hair growth process works. The laser targets hair during its growth cycle. Because hair grows at different rates, all hair won’t be targeted during one session. Hair growth occurs in cycles of four to six weeks on the face and six to eight weeks on the rest of the body. If you think of how many hair follicles you have on your body and that they might all be at different cycles, you will understand why we recommend regular laser hair removal appointments for optimal hair growth reduction.

3. What Type of Equipment Do You Use?We always ensure that our clients receive the best treatment at the best price at our medical spa. 4. Will I Need Any Downtime?It is not a surgical, invasive procedure, and you won’t need downtime or special healing time after a session. Your skin will be slightly irritated, and we do advise that you avoid swimming, waxing or lotions for 48 hours after your session to give your skin time to recover. We will discuss any concerns during our consultation and give you more laser hair removal aftercare tips.

5. Any Side Effects I Should Be Aware of?If you have experienced rashes, eczema, or any skin condition before, we can always do a patch test and see how your skin reacts to the laser. The worst side effects you should experience are redness, itching, discoloration and irritation at the laser site. If you visit a center that doesn’t use the best equipment and professionally trained staff, you risk a harmful outcome and infection and pain at the laser site.
